2024 spring / summer. Yellow gold color. Round, fleshy, lots of sweet citrus and some stone fruit, a touch of residual sugar and no oak - this is my first time with Thevenet-Quintaine but understand this is the typical style. An interesting change of pace — 3 months ago
Catching up on my notes. This was much better than the last bottle. Enjoyable, but it was crazy that this Gamay felt heavier than the Nebbiolo on the table. In its defense, it was up against Luca Roagna’s deft touch (see my notes on the 17’ Gallina). Despite its hefty structure, the Thevenet Morgon still had plenty of energy. Whole cluster goodness and plenty of red cherries. The palate was full-bodied with a supple texture. It had a touch of candied “sweetness” but plenty of acidity to keep things lively. Finished spicy with suggestions of minerality. One to revisit on a better occasion. — 6 months ago

2022 vintage. More color and richer flavors than expected. Medium body. Super harmonious with complementary acidity to finish up the proceedings. Quite the mouthful of Chablis. This was outstanding. Age it if you prefer but drinking very nicely now. 6.26.24. — 5 months ago

Best Chamblis to date. Heavy lime and green apple, high minerality. This borders on “be careful” level. Way too “drinkable.” Would absolutely buy again. — 6 months ago

Fun and funky. A little yeasty but overall a solid natural beaujolais — a month ago
