Direct press Gamay with a slight copper tone. — 3 years ago
Good and very “winey” with a fairly fat mid-palate. Good but was hoping for more. — 7 years ago

frutta e freschezza, rivela aromi di agrumi, miele e burro, brioche. Bocca rotondo, equilibrato e armonico con note di frutta e agrumi. — 11 years ago
Medium dark cherry robe with the unmistakable red on the rim. Nose of red cherries and a hint of spices. Medium bodied, great acidity and civilized tannins. A lovely bottle from a less well known wine region of France. Excellent stuff. — a year ago
I love this wine and will always sell it. Not many people share my passion for this wine. Still, I’ll always sell it. An unreal nose of raspberry spice cake that is so good. Heavenly. Big time herbs de Provence. Clay. Graphite as well. This is 60% Mourvèdre, 25% Syrah and 15% Grenache. Mint. Lurid black and red berry. This is my favorite southern Rhone wine and it is not close. This is my southern Rhone DRC. Impossibly complex and captivating nose. You cannot stop smelling it. Oh my god. Mercury must be in retrograde tonight as all wines showing sick. Holy elegance. Just so elegant. This is 15%! You would not know. Amazing purity. Such clarity. For people interested this is natural wine as Marcel Richaud is as important to natural wine as Lapierre or Chauvet. This is his piece de resistance. Best one I’ve had since 2010. I cannot believe how juicy and elegant this is. It glides. So so so so good. — 5 years ago
A little richer than expected, but very good and very red winey. — 7 years ago
Super light and crisp! Very clean. — 8 years ago
gorgeous, simple Beaujolais. Chanudet from chamonard made from a plot co owned with Lapierre bought from Chauvet. — 10 years ago

Sophisticated soft velvet sings a beautiful song. Ripe berries, a touch of herbs and leather, and a lovely dried floral high note that has a sour cherry tang made this a stunner of a wine. This is ultra-orthodox Beaujolais in the Chauvet style, whole bunch, carbonic maceration in cement, aged in neutral oak and not a thing added, especially not any sulfur. Apparently some bottles are great and others, well… we got a great one. — 5 years ago

Fools don't know. This pagne is sick. — 10 years ago
Both mineral and powerful, elegant and deep, floral and spicy. My mind goes back and forth while drinking this. It's light and pure but also a little tannic. Great wine. Sulphur is only used (a little) during bottling when the wine is in need for it. Natural winemaking without dogma's. Philippe Pacalet was trained by Jules Chauvet (the father of the natural wine movement and compatriot of his oncle Marcel Lapiere) and later at Domaine Prieuré-Roch. — 11 years ago
