100% new French oak easily detected but I don't care what anyone thinks. Hedonistically good. — 10 years ago
Hmmm awesome could be a start, lets try Googsome for discovering a new dimension of taste, aroma n crispiness . Yup highly recommanded — 11 years ago
2011 - a lighter cab franc with amazing balance. Not as heavy as usual cab franc... smooth and easy going. — 11 years ago
We’re snowed ❄️ in on a Friday night and decided to imbibe this generously gifted Chateau Potelle, VGS Vintage 2010, ABV 14.5%. It’s predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon, alongside Merlot, from Mount Veeder in Napa Valley, California. 🍷 🇺🇸
Wow, aromas and flavors are exuberant, concentrated, rich, and span a spectrum of characteristics from candied plum, ripe black cherry, and crème de cassis to black olive and crushed violet, to nutmeg, cardamom, and clove, to leather, tobacco, smoke, meat, and earth.
Tannins and mouthfeel are supple and smooth. Acidity is present, lending balance.
This wine is bold and is drinking beautifully now, though it has potential for further aging.
Cheers!

2017 “GSC” Grenache blend with Syrah and Cinsault. Dry on the palatte. No distinctive aroma but very enjoyable by itself or with food.

Had the VGS Chardonnay 2004 (11 years young!) next to 2013. They sure come from the same place. Great structure and great complexity. — 11 years ago
Deep licorice with hints of supple rich dark berry. Drinking great now. — 11 years ago

Awesome!!!!! Amazing wine — 8 years ago
This is what wine should taste like. Smooth, sweet, mysterious black pepper bites in the night. Figs by the fire with my lover. Also would be smoother in 3-7 years. — 9 years ago
So what do you call a Bordeaux Blend from Napa - ""The Illegitimate"! This is a fun wine. Nicely blended with up front fruit and smooth / soft finish. Has character like a classic French wine with Napa twist. Pairs well with many foods - so versatile. — 10 years ago
Perfect Summer wine.. — 11 years ago
Very good shit. :) We visited them in Napa....literally loved every wine we tried. Now in the wine club. — 12 years ago
