Great local wine in Sardinia. — 4 years ago
Very clean finish. Fruity a little minerals — 5 years ago
Cherry beef jerky, standing outside a leather shop, lavender and hints of five spice powder on the nose. Very soft, smooth, and polished mouthfeel, thick but subtle legs with kirsch, amaretto, blood orange with under layer of summer berry compote and hints of five spice powder comes out on a long finish at the end. Really really nice. — 5 years ago

This natural wine is for all you Italian wine geeks🤓. Cesanese from Romano 🇮🇹. Certified biodynamic. A dark fruit, smoky nose. Serious yet easy to drink. Peonies, almond, forest floor and underlying minerality. Gold ⭐️ — 6 years ago
Deeper color than most Rosé’s. Softer finish with some minerality. Light on the nose. Back of the palate well rounded and smooth. — 7 years ago
Deep ruby in color; black plums, blackberries, and tabacco on the nose; high acidity; high tannins; tastes like black cherries, leather, and wet gravel with a long finish. — 2 years ago
Sept 2020 $? (~15-20?) at Norman’s. Color: garnet with corona of raisiny brown. Open about 30 min and... fine. Not sweet, good tannins in mouth, no linger. Unremarkable and goes down easily. After bottle open about 90 min, more spice and edge, classic yet not complex (at all) Pinot flavor. Alc %14.5 but does not land as a “strong” wine. No actual negatives but would only buy ‘16 again for $8 or less. High rating b/c so very easy to drink. — 5 years ago
Very good French red wine! Not overpowering but easy drinking.

Fresh, enticing, elegant.
Nose with earthy, musky raspberries, mulberries, a touch of damson plum, and a light flowery whiff
On the palate this is silky smooth. Zero rusticity, chewy tannins or sharp acidity - so often found in Montepulciano.
This has flow, energy, good depth, nice minerality underneath the fruit. And all this with 12% alc.
This is not at all what I expected! What a delight, what a nice surprise!
Very elegant, smooth, delicious.
A brilliant example the Montepulciano can deliver great wine!
Only but - you get 2 bottles of Ziereisen’s Syrah for one of this - and blind I would not be able to tell the difference.
