Vins El Cep

BLANC DE TERRER (TERROIR WHITE) Xarello 2023

Delectable Wine
9.1

The 2023 Ot de Vins el Cep is a tasty, cosmopolitan red that blends Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah from Penedès. Expressive fruit-forward aromas include cherry, sour cherry and blood orange. Dry and grippy on the palate, it flows with gentle, mildly juicy textures. $14.00 (Joaquín Hidalgo, Vinous, October 2024) — 2 months ago

Emmolo Winery

Napa Valley Merlot 2020

I always listen to the sommelier, and usually order what they recommend. This was one of those times, and we couldn’t be happier. A monster Merlot, 14.9% ABV, but smooth as silk. Delightful with our prime rib. Here we are in the middle of the Caribbean on the last night of a cruise, enjoying ourselves at a wonderful restaurant, the Cosmopolitan. — 10 months ago

Laherte Frères

Extra Brut Champagne Rosé De Pinot Meunier

Paired with burgers on hot day, great. Red fruit, bitter, reminded me of Pimms or a Cosmopolitan, snappy. Opened up well. — 4 years ago

First Tempranillo based rose for me. Very good. Nice minerals. Paired beautifully with the Tapas at Jaleo at the Cosmopolitan. — 7 years ago

Domaine de Terrebrune

Bandol Mourvedre Blend Rosé 2014

I'm not the biggest rosé fan. Too bad coz I live in rosé climate. This however was a delight. My friends parents insisted we drink it as its from Bandol an area of Provence known for their rosé. It was dry without the boredom and more structured with a bigger body and tannic without the tart on one hand or sweet on the other. It's a cosmopolitan rosé- enjoyed in NYC, holding its own with political debate or high fashion outfits — 9 years ago
