Love this Spanish blend. First tried in Barcelona but then found some bottles here in Dallas! Easy to drink, nice dark fruits. Medium body. Smooth tannins. Not sure I can find it at home anymore. Will have to return to Barcelona! — 4 months ago
Mid to dark Ruby in colour. Black and Red fruits - aromatics of blackberry, note of raspberry, earthy and sandy notes. A medium to full bodied palate - rich and enduring. Costers de Vinyes Vielles comes from the company’s oldest vines. A blend of 110 year old Carinena (55%) and 90 year old Garnacha (45%). Aged for 16 months in French oak. One of the 1001 Wines. 14.5% ABV. Love Priorat wines after our visit in 2022. — 9 months ago
Though lacking a bit in aromatics and perhaps a touch on the green side, this is a nevertheless very decent, light, and quaffable red blend from a region that usually skews in the other direction (hot, heavy, and occasionally stinky). Their website says 75% grenache, 25% cab, which is more consistent with what I tasted. — 2 months ago

Tastes great, on the dry side. Very smooth — 9 months ago
Always a favorite from the Pyrenees mountains. Met this guy once. Cool pictures of the vineyards above the clouds. Satiny smooth with a fresh clean finish. — 9 months ago

It’s being a while since I’ve pounded a Priorat and Pissarres delivered — the right balance of raspberry, blueberry and black slate. Pure, intense fruit and earth unadulterated by new oak. Great pairing with Gochujang (other favorite pairings include Pinot Gris Ramato or Bedrock Evanghelo Zin). — 2 months ago

Tainted gold color. Strong floral, borderline pungent nose; little bit of desert rain in there. The palate is bone dry, medium alcohol, medium acidity, full bodied; carries lots of umami, white mushroom, unctuous, tannins, and a strong finish. Paired with salmon sashimi with olive oil and salicornia. Pairing was delightful, wine all on its own will develop your character. Cheers. — 25 days ago
