Pale straw color. Aroma of green apples and citrus. Tart green apples and citrus upfront. Then a creamy middle. Finishes with tart green apple and citrus. Crisp and refreshing — a year ago

2020. I believe this is my first Romorantin based wine, so I read through the tasting notes here and was excited to try it. Rich orchard fruit, good acid, and definitely get the oxidized sherry-like notes some mentioned. Paired with snacks while watching the Masters. Not quite their Pimento Cheese Sandwich, but my goat cheese stuffed roasted red peppers and black olives went great with the wine! — 10 months ago

Not sure the @Delectable Wine identification is correct because I don’t know if “Cabriole” is a different cuvée than the regular Cheverny. But close enough, I guess. This is a Pinot blend with a little Gamay, I think. Really exuberant nose has tons of ripe, lively red berry and sappy cherry fruit, limestoney minerality, and a little wet loam earthiness. High-toned and fruity in the mouth, it’s a fun drink, with zingy acids and just about zero tannin. Worked well with a chicken and artichoke casserole. — 2 years ago
