Dark cocoa, oak, and blackberry. Bold and rich. — 6 months ago
2018 vintage. Precious nose. Medium body. Can’t decide if it wants to finesse/pickpocket things or drop the pizazz bomb since it tries to rock both. Solid juice but I’ve got absolutely zero idea where it ends up in 3 years. 7 years. A decade. Two. A wine at a crossroads early on. Drinking deliciously now tho. — 3 years ago
Decisions decisions… Both very comparable styles. Rudd is a Mount Veeder Suav Blanc with fruit derived from mountaintop vineyards where vines are stressed and provide more concentrated berries. Very balanced and almost exuberant on the palate. There are sharp honey suckle note toward a midst of the palate. Cheers. — a month ago
