Danube Plain Gamza Rosé

The wine is pretty good. Very potent aromatically. Lots of bold herbs and floral notes with a pretty strong diesel/rubber finish but that evokes notes of wild yeast? Its weird but actually blends in with the Bulgarian sandwich (prinzesi) nicely. Drinks cleanly though with well balanced acidity and flavor notes of lemon, herbs and that kiss of diesel/ rubber — 7 months ago

Bruck Federspiel Riesling 2021

From my cellar via Lyle Fass - This is a great winery/coop. So much fun to do a tasting there in Austria in the Danube valley and it is free. Have been there a couple of times. A great wine. At this point it is starting to turn and enter the aged phase of Riesling. Elderberry, touch white peach, meyer lemon, hint jasmine. Was an incredible value. And still is if you can find it what a treat!!! — 2 years ago

Le Russe Russian River Valley Pinot Noir 2021

Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.

Fruity nose and medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with nice complexity.

Showing sweet cherries, plums, light oak, chocolates, black pepper, light earth, herbs, spices, tobacco leaf, dark coffee and black pepper.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.

This is a delicious Pinot Noir from Russian River Valley. Nicely balanced and elegant.

Good right out of the bottle and better with airtime.

Easy drinking and a good sipping wine.

92 points.
