@Tom Casagrande, I admit I still long for the days when Bordeaux was 12.5-13% regularly — I recognize I’m just an old curmudgeon, but we have PLENTY of 14-15% ABV Cabs to choose from around the globe!!

@Doug Powers - Those days are gone. Long gone. The planet is warmer, and continuing to warm. Enjoy what we have while we still have it. I for one am not looking forward to future Bordeaux with effing Marselan in it.

@Tom Casagrande, thanks for the insights, I’d say 80-85% of my Bordeaux wines are pre-2000. And, I don’t really pay much attention to them, pricing is at a level beyond my pain point!! 🤷🍷
