Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2006 Special Club pours a straw color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with green apple, raspberry, honey, and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and layered. This is supremely balanced and locked in, showing so well. Plenty of life but a treat to enjoy right now. Through 2041.

This is a pleasant stunner of citrus zest and tart apple. Whoa! Note to self: 12 is not sufficient supply. — 2 months ago
The Hébrart domaine is located right on the Marne, in the village of Aÿ, catty-corner to Philipponnat. Their 1er cru Rosé, NV is a 60/40 mix of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, aged in INOX (with a small portion of the PN added as vin rouge aged in barrique). What’s most important, is that it’s delicious.
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The wine pours a very pretty pink color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe strawberry, raspberry, lemon, pink flowers, marzipan and limestone minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ with a lovely, creamy texture. Serious enough for the nerds; seriously gluggable for the revelers. Disgorged April of 2023. Drink now. — 10 months ago
😍 Marc Hébrart’s Special Club 2019 is one of those bottles that reminds us why we fell in love with “grower champagne” in the first place.
💯 It’s generous without being heavy. Structured without being stern. A masterclass in elegance, energy, and purity, not to mention it’s utterly delicious even in relative youth.
🍇 Pinot Noir plays a lead role in this particular cuvée joined by Chardonnay for extra lift and brightness. The grapes hail from the Premier and Grand Cru villages of Louvois, Chouilly, & Mareuil-sur-Ay.
⚖️ After 36 months aging sur lie, this wine was disgorged and bottled with a “brut” dosage, which melds a soft energy into its steely profile, creating balance and tension.

Wine of the trip so far - just everything you would hope it to be (of course @ sacre bistro) — 3 months ago
Golden raisins, soda bread, lemon, orchard fruit, nice body, tart rainier cherries — 5 months ago
Brut Zero Rosé from Tarlant. Grower Champagne with an even split of Pn and Chard; 5% Meunier too. Zero dosage. Terrific bottle of Grower Champagne. Each glass got better and better. Great fruit and great acidity.l — 7 months ago

D: 03/13. Knock your socks off stuff; deep golden brown; Pinot Noir tangy ness rounded into almost cane sugar. Contemplative wine - so interesting to try first time and it be fairly aged. — 5 years ago

Pale lemon in color.
Nice on the nose, and medium in body with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing citrus, green apples, light spices, yeast, light brioche, minerals and sea salt.
Long finish with limes and almonds.
This 14 year old Champagne is starting to drink nicely now. Rich and nicely balanced. Tangy and spicy.
Still young, and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years.
I've had a few vintages of this Champagne, and this one seems less approachable at the moment.
Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food, like fresh seafood.
A blend of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir. Aged for 7 years on the lees.
12% alcohol by volume.
91 points.

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of lunch. The Cuvée Prestige pours a straw color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of apple, raspberry, fresh brioche, lemon curd and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. Most of my experience with this producer has been focused on its Special Club bottling (I know, poor me), but I gotta say, this is a great representative of the family’s style! Super easy to enjoy. Drink now. Disgorged November of 2021. — 9 days ago
