Vintage 2001 | my oh my. 24 years old. We tend to drink grüner veltliner young but there is no need to do so. @Rob van Kalmthout said the advice is to drink between 3-5 years or after 15 years and longer. I saw many happy faces with this wine. Flint and spicyness. I smelled chestnut champignons. Dill. And also creamy butter. Vitality, rich, beautiful rondeur. Fantastic. — 3 months ago
Wine available at our favourite food court in Warsaw. No real note, aromatic nose with pear, lemon, white flowers. It's crisp and delicious. The palate is fresh but not too acid driven, round, peary and citrusy, with some grip, some sweetness too. The finish is crisp and fresh but also fruity and round. Good, reliable, stuff. — a month ago
Gruner Veltliner Federspiel has nice acidity and pairs well with seafood and light meats! — 13 days ago
Clean, fresh at nearly 5 years. Reductive and a little spritzy in a good way. Resembles a top German Müller-Thurgau. — 2 months ago
