Vin de Savoie Apremont Jacquère 2020

Pear, melon, minerals, a little bit of white flowers — little citrus, lemon. Quite good actually. Would be delicious with light fish, actually makes me want fish … 89. — 2 days ago

Les Pierres de Pierre Pouilly-Fumé Sauvignon Blanc 2019

Enjoyed in Paris at the Hôtel de Crillon bar with old friends. Made it taste even better 🥰 Crisp, citrus and and mineral-forward. — a year ago

Rasteau White Rhone Blend 2015

Strong nose of hazelnuts and cloves. Has almost a medicinal quality. This split the group with many finding the 15% alcohol too much.
Served with flammed salmon and asparagus risotto.

Vaucluse Blanc Rhone Blend 2017

Interesting wine. The nose is quince and citrus peel, tastewise there is almond, orange peel and beeswax. The only thing holding this back from greatness is a massive 16% alcohol. Brutal aftertaste that makes this more like an after dinner schnapps! After one glass i was staggering to the kitchen to make dinner. Bit of a shame but still a good wine. — a year ago
