A sappy red fruited slightly savoury perfume…stewed fruits. Reminds me of those Western Australia Pinot characteristics. I used to buy Moss Wood Pinot where the fruit came from Pemberton if I recall correctly. This WA Pinot from Mount Barker, we bought at the winery a few years ago reminds me of the old Moss Wood Pinots. I don’t think this is a cellaring proposition but it is tasting great at 6 years old.
