Consorzio. Menu pineau grape. 👍 — a year ago
Not as pepper-driven as previous vintage I’ve tasted but still enjoyable and highly quaffable. — 4 years ago

LOVE. Loire might be my favourite French region.
Some green pepper on the nose. Dangerously drinkable. Food friendly. Went well with spiced ground beef and rice, but this red would be a good companion for red or white meat, Indian dishes, or on its own. — 6 years ago
Very delicious. Peppery and sooo good — 7 years ago
Perfumed, complex and beguiling. Golden syrup, toffee and nuts, citrus, raisins, Christmas candy—what a symphony! A glass of this delight was how I ended my recent nose-to-tail dinner at St. John Restaurant in Smithfield, London. — 3 months ago

Great value peppery lively wine — 6 years ago
My last bottle of the 2020, one of the riper versions I’ve had of this consistently excellent cuvée. Such deeply ripe gooseberry fruit that it crosses over into tropical. But there’s loads of freshness in the form of limestoney mineral scents. Ripe and deep on entry, but then the sneaky acids and the minerality clamps down, making the finish mouthwatering. Terrific accompaniment to our simple broiled haddock weeknight dinner. — 4 months ago
Incredible Traditional Brut! I really enjoy extra dry cava and while this is from France not Spain I’ll be buying it again. If the bubbles were smaller I would definitely give it a 10! It’s dry but has a long finish that’s amazing, really well balanced. — 6 years ago
