I think this is my favorite wine I've ever drank. Period. No lies. 15/10 — 2 years ago
2020. I believe this is my first Romorantin based wine, so I read through the tasting notes here and was excited to try it. Rich orchard fruit, good acid, and definitely get the oxidized sherry-like notes some mentioned. Paired with snacks while watching the Masters. Not quite their Pimento Cheese Sandwich, but my goat cheese stuffed roasted red peppers and black olives went great with the wine! — 8 months ago
Revisiting this first release of Fenaughty Vineyard Syrah 2 years later and I really like where it’s headed. Less fresh and crunchy and more resolved and elegant, showing its depth and layers. fleshy black cherry, strawberry, pastille, dried herbs, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, incense and a granitic note. Reminiscent of Cru Beaujolais more than northern Rhone. 12.6% abv. An intriguing alpine California Syrah and an ideal pairing with rustic Berkeley-bought, French-inspired fare. — 3 years ago
Chard and SB blend. Meaty with ripeness; maybe suffering from the Fat Elvis years. I like some fat but to say fat is healthy is not good. — 6 months ago
Another interesting one. Would have guessed it was a young big year Oregon Pinot. — 2 years ago
Quite nice, more body than mot Pinots. Especially at the price. — 3 years ago

2019. Acidic. Dark fruits and berries. Peppery spices. Exactly what I want out of a red wine! — 2 months ago
