1996 Dumas Clos St. Denis. Dinner at home during Quarantine. Opened and served. Didn’t decant. First pour (while cooking) was straight after opening and very strong fresh strawberry notes. Really evolved in bottle over dinner (next hour or so), getting richer, showing nice tannins (in a feminine way), and became much more complex. By the end of the night (2 hours later), was richer and much more Burgundian. Thoroughly enjoyable throughout the evolution. Next time, if drinking quickly, would event ~30 mins before serving. — 5 years ago

Intriguing & unique Cab. Spicy red fruit in the nose & through the palate. This yields some smoky/spicy notes on the mid palate & through the finish. Plenty of tannic structure persisting here. Under appreciated producer outside of Washington. Very nice bottle of Cabernet. — 5 years ago
Nice surprise from the back of my wine “cellar”. 2015 but seems older. — 6 years ago

Tannins have really softened up. Fruit is very ripe - blackberry, red cherry. Raisin, fig, plum. Seems to me to be meeting its end of drinking window. Still quite delicious. — 4 months ago
