Molasses, brown sugar, nutmeg. Spicy oak finish. Very good, but has a kick. 128.7 proof. — 2 years ago
held my breath as I opened the bottle and was relieved when the wine poured out light in color, not a trace of the premox that pervades this wine, though it was a bit more honeyed than usual but still had superb flavors and depth. Citrus and some apples, white flowers, not real steely like CC often is, the bottle was emptied rather quickly. — 4 years ago
Took me a while and finished this bottle off today. An excellent, well priced bottle of enjoyable bourbon. Highly recommend grabbing this for sipping times. — 5 months ago

Light on it’s feet, nice acidity and delicacy of Rufina .Not a ton of funk but no trace of the barrique. Poured out an hour or so before Amatriciana.Delish. — 4 years ago
Deep purple in color with a wide purplish rim.
Sweet nose of black fruits, light oak, spices and lots of chocolates notes.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and very fruity on the palate with black currants, blackberries, sweet plums, cooked cherries, spices, oak, chocolates, vanilla, licorice, tobacco and light herbs.
Spicy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a very tasty GSM blend from California. Nicely balanced and fruit forward.
Still young, but showing nice complexity already.
Good right out of the bottle, and good by itself as a sipping wine. A nice pop and pour kind of wine. Will continue to drink nicely in the next 5 years.
Paired nicely with a Charcuterie board of dried meats and cheeses. Would pair well with Lamb dishes.
A blend of 66% Grenache, 21% Syrah and 13% Mourvèdre. Aged in Hungarian oak barrels. A small production of only 2,600 bottles.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
91 points.

Deep inky purple and not a trace of brick. Heavy tar and jam (not off-putting) on the nose and not surprisingly a bit of alcohol. Delicious balance of jaminess and ripe black fruit. Enjoy in next couple years though to taste the fruit. Drinking with berebere chicken and rice. — 3 years ago

An absolutely alluring nose with cloves, spice, dried meat and a trace of pepper. Barely medium weight on the palate. Barb loved it for that. Very different to Barossa or McLaren Vale Shiraz. Without a doubt the best Shiraz Viognier blend in Australia although Yarra Yering Dry Red No. 2 (with a few other Rhone varieties in the blend) would give it a run for its money. Really very good with a few years to go but pretty much at its peak. — a month ago
