Matured taste. Still has acidity. Complexity. Fallen leaves. Jayer-Gilles Bourgogne Hauts Cotes de Nuits Pinot Noir 2010 @2564, xiaduo -, 220927-221007 — 4 years ago
Trader Joe’s sign led me right: this went great with chili! It was full and spicy but not too tannic to have with dinner. — 5 years ago
Fruit forward, very drinkable. I really enjoyed this wine, would buy again! — 6 years ago
Vanilla, fruit, a bit of spice! Medium full body. — 7 years ago
Watch out famed northern Rhône producers. This label has a long way to go but the wine is already a world class killer of Syrah giants. Ripping. I would even say give it a minute it just unfolds more and more intensely. Only red wine I’ve ever successfully paired with some earthy chocolate too. — 7 years ago
Spanish Sidra and French White Grenache had a funky love child! Cloudy, fermented, a bit fizzy and a lot of fun. Excellent food wine. My wife and I enjoyed this rustic beauty at the Pizzana/Truly Pizza collab in Marina del Rey. 2023 vintage. Salud! — 7 months ago
45 min decant(little cloudy sediment). An exquisite dark ruby red color. On the nose: Nice delicate nose of sour cherry, spice, orange peel, vanilla, and some cedar. Taste: Wow!! A velvety palate draws you in with black cherry, pepper, earth, and a juicy minerally cedar long finish.
A perfect wine to celebrate (pizza and pinot) the SF Giants NL West win today!....hey evil Dodgers, have fun playing St. Louis on Wednesday (NOT!) — 5 years ago

Ending a fun day at Oracle Park in SF to see the GIANTS play the CUBS; won the series! Enjoying great food and wine at the Boulevard restaurant. Medium to dark red with a brown hue rim. Has funky wet earth barnyard and blueberry nose. A strawberry cherry fruit initial taste with a smoke and spice finish. Tannins are medium but relatively smooth. An hour after the first pour, the wine really opened up. Tannins are more smooth and there is nice black licorice finish with a hint of vanilla. — 7 years ago
Smell is boysenberry, old leather, freshly fallen maple leaves, lavender, hibiscus, chalky, wet, boysenberry, grippy, dry, finishing blackberry taste, color is a dark ruby with some magenta — 7 years ago
2005 vintage. Decanted and tasted immediately and over the course of 4 hours. Medium body with a continually morphing nose. Super-impressive bouquet throughout the night. Overt fruit fallen off the framework and replaced with secondary attributes/complexities. @Bill Bender remarked twice about a lack of “heat”since the usual CDP ABV range seemed underwhelming One might think that would present issues but, rest assured, it did not. Great wine possibly at its’ zenith/top of the bell curve and living its’ best life now. Backed up the hype and then some. Tied for WOTN along with the 2006 Krug Clos du Mesnil Champagne (missed a picture for that one) for both myself and @Shay A 09.21.25. — 9 months ago

At 10.5yrs old, this private label WF cab is, well, straight forward and touch underwhelming. The fruit is clean and does trend toward WA state pedigree, but the power and tannic resolve have fallen short by the order of one magnitude. Very pleasant nevertheless…and completely fine for Tuesday burgers ;) — 5 years ago
If under $6 - worth it — 6 years ago
