Picked up at Total wine. Really great for a Sunday bottle. We had it with pasta and sardines. Perfect accompaniment — 2 months ago
This wine is medium dark garnet in the glass. The nose has a good supply of cherry and raspberry notes, dusted up with earth, tar and anise. The palate has a bit of licorice on it, but mainly serves as a showcase for the red fruit. There are some spicy elements, too. White pepper, nutmeg, and a very light clove sense brighten up the fruit. Tannic structure is firm and acidity refreshing. I had mine with a slow cooker red wine short rib dish, and the pairing was sublime. — 7 days ago

Ei liian makea, hyvin makua — 2 months ago
Birthday Barolo! Mmmm this is good stuff. Late bottle release - aged in the Anselma cellar until 2024. Deep nose of macerated dark cherries. Bright red cherries at first, with tight tannins, sharp acid and a lot of structure. Herbal, dry, dusty finish. Still feels quite young after all these years (like me??), but I just opened it and it’s still developing…
5 hours later: more dried berry notes, black pepper and bitters. Still pretty restrained and dry. Not fruit forward, but refined with nice complexity. — 2 months ago

This wine is medium dark garnet with some brown starting to show. The nose brings enough savory for everybody. Currant, fig, and blackberry notes are draped in earthy scents like pepper, tobacco, oak spice, coffee, and tarragon. The palate holds a set of firm tannins and a racy acidity. Flavors of dark berries, cherry, and plum define the wine’s profile. It will pair well with pork, lamb, or veal. — 16 days ago
