Has to be one of my all time favorite names for a wine! Very fresh, slight salinity, nice fruit presentation. — 5 years ago

Jacob's Creek/Orlando

Centenary Hill Shiraz 2002

20 years old but still dark red and vibrant. Fruit has dropped off but lots of exotic spice and rich vanilla coconut from the American oak (?) in the background. Lovely drink with our eye fillet. — 3 years ago

As fresh as a spring daisy on the nose and palate. This hasn’t moved since it was bottled. I’m very impressed.
The nose presents lanolin and lemon oil and fresh-cut flowers. Palate is laser-focused with limes, grapefruit and gravel. Acid structure is pristine, yet powerful. I’m more familiar with BC’s pinots. This isn’t how I recollect the chard to be - wow! I think this is their entry-level offering, too. A very pleasant surprise… age is its friend.

One of my wines of the flight in a broad tasting of #Bierzo wines. This wine offers perfume, elegance ans structure that points to improvement with bottle age. — 4 years ago

Classic, structured, dignified, familiar. Like stepping in to an Episcopal church. With all the positive and negative connotations that might hold. — a year ago
