Incredible at 23 years. Held up so well. — 7 months ago
Here’s the thing: this is good wine. It’s dense, chewy, and structured. There’s a nice balance of red and black fruit, graphite, cedar, mushroom, soil, and just a touch of Brett funk. It’s fairly tannic, so probably best with food, but can still be enjoyed on its own. I would never be mad if I was offered this. I was lucky to take home an open bottle from a job tonight, but I think the price tag on this is ridiculous. — 2 years ago
Ridge Zinfandel blends always age well. This was no different. Tasted this blind and no one called Zinfandel. That’s how different they become with this kind of age. That Zinfandel jamminess fades and complexity rises.

Crushed red and blue fruit, earthy, berry compote finish. — 9 months ago
Medium lemon with aromas of stone and citrus fruits with floral and flinty notes. On the palate flavors of ripe apple and lemon citrus, oak and vanilla, smooth with a crisp texture, lively acidity. Medium+ finish ending with citrus fruit and sweet savory mineral character. — 4 years ago

[35% Tempranillo, 28% Grenache, 21% Tannat, 14% Syrah, 2% Cabernet Sauvignon] Still dark purple color, dark fruit and earthy aromas and flavors, some nice depth and balance and also lots of structure, I’d call this quite an unique Sierra Foothills red due to the cepage, seems like it will last quite a while, kudos to Hank!! — a month ago
