The 2019 Chardonnay Four is stunning, with a detailed, singular perfume of baked apples and preserved lemon with touches of curry spice and graphite. The full-bodied palate is satiny and textural, combining nutty, honeyed fruits, tangy acidity and stony mineral character, and it finishes with tremendous length. A delicious Cabernet Sauvignon. Deep rich, dark berry flavors. One of my favorite Cabernets. I love Red Mountain AVA wines. — a month ago

I wasn’t a Zin fan until I discovered the Lodi region. This is my favorite. Very smooth and drinkable. A strong cherry finish. — 6 months ago

Label has some style. And catches the eye. Bit of an aged version of CA Zin, but that can work. Deeper rusty, maroon color than some Paso Robles Zin I’ve had. Smells a bit more herbal and dank than fruity and jammy. Flavors are big, bodacious and brawny. Hints of the blending other reds in the mix. Chewy. Hint of that grape jelly in a campfire flavor of some Zins in the finish. This should pair well with a steak and grilled veggies. It’s a nice, well produced classic. Kinda like the biker on the bottle. — 11 days ago
