Mid Lemon in colour. Peachey flavours with a bitter finish. Full and luscious but finishes dry with 13.5% Alcohol. Nice to drink after the Grosset to compare. The following day honeyed notes. Delicious and uniquely European. — 7 years ago

I believe this is my first time with a Henschke white. Intense citrusy nose along with florals and undertones of petro (nothing even close to a Grosset). A very zesty palate of some orchard fruit and plenty of acid. A moderate finish that I expect will extend once things better integrate. Family home for Christmas so these are brief notes. From a block of vines planted in 1961. A dry style but showing more fulsome flavours than the usual lime/lemon citrus. I actually enjoyed this as much as the Grosset Springvale. — 3 years ago
