Hacienda Solano

Hacienda Lopez de Haro (Bodega Classica)

Gran Reserva Rioja Tempranillo 2012

Blend of Tempranillo and Graciano. Medium ruby color with a dark core and orange rim. Aromas of coffee, leather, ripe red fruit, wet stones and forest floor. Flavors of black berry/currant/plum fruit, black licorice, balsamic vinegar and roasted meat and nuts. Long earthy and slightly spicy finish. Pleasant acidity and silky (but slightly chalky) tannins. Full bodied, round and elegant. Beautifully aged. Thanks for sharing, Keith S! Happy 60th Birthday, Karyn! — 14 days ago

Ceritas

Hacienda Secoya Vineyard Pinot Noir 2017

Really very good. Probably best wine I’ve had from Ceritas. 12.3%, tastes old school but with slightly more new world flavor characteristics like warm spices and purple berries. Great acid and lingering finish. Very enjoyable and fun to try with the age. — 5 months ago
