Haley's Mill

Matthiasson

Yount Mill Vineyard Pinot Meunier 2018

Better than I expected. Super interesting bottling from the good folks at Mathiasson. Only 11.7%. Quite light on its feet, with just a bit of fruit - more earth. Good acid. Surprisingly good pairing with a pork chop. — a day ago

Trevibban Mill

Harlyn 2018

Pears, elderflower with underlying sherbet tones. I’m finding different flavours in this to previous tastes. Maybe I’m missing Padstow during this time, but the main thing to know about this wine is that it’s utterly superb. — 4 years ago

Pinot Noir Haley's Block 2022

Once it breaths a bit it’s dry and peppery- which was surprising to me for a Pinot. 😍 — 4 months ago

1 Mill Road Vineyard

Naramata Bench Pinot Noir

1st release and production for 1 mille road on the naramata bench. Excited to have ordered and tried. Excellent winemakers who started laughing stock and have ventured to a single varietal production. This Pinot noir is wonderful will look forward to more of the rich smooth wine. @P A have to try — 4 years ago

Ridge Vineyards

Mill Block York Creek Zinfandel 2013

Very good wine, but perhaps on the downhill already. The fruit just couldn’t outlive the oak, which I find somewhat overbearing. Slightly oxidative, but with juicy texture and tannins still kicking. — 5 years ago
