Awesome value, remember this from my days at Harry's in Fairfield. Bought at Bleu Provence in Naples. — 7 years ago
Vintage 2015 / Wednesday Meatballsday (4) / why does someone call his wine ‘No one’ ? It is asking for troubles... you might presume. It has to do with Odyssey, when he was trapped by the Cyclops Polyphemus in his cave, he offered the most precious wine and the Cyclops asked for its name. Kanenas means No one. Enfin... good story, but how does it taste? The colour is half transparant, a ruby rim. It seems a very easy wine, comforting, quaffable, hap sap. But drinking with care one discovers a very nice nose, smell of raspberries, quite frivolous. Hints of spices. Made from local grape Mavroudi and Syrah. Paired very well with meatballs, broccoli and baked potatoes. Greece is really interesting. — 5 years ago

Vintage 2015 / A red wine from a white wine district. Not filtered, biodynamic ánd made without sulphite. This cabernet franc offers a shy smell with minerals and a fruity expression in smell and taste. It has no complexity whatsoever, it is glorious in its symplicity! The French call this affectionately Glou Glou, I think American and English call this quaffable and my personal (Dutch) expression is: hap sap. Meaning after a sip you want immediately another sip. Super appealing. It is an ideal wine for lunch on a hot July day - that is if you do not want to take a hazy sleep in the afternoon. 😉/ Paired with a fish/courgette/pesto dish, worked wonderful.
