Ripe & fruit forward with dark cherry & blackberry and a whiff of Mediterranean herbs.
Rich yet very fresh & balanced on the palate with beautifully polished & juicy tannins and a perfect balance between the sweet fruit and sappy acidity.
This is a nice one - richer & heavier yet very drinkable at the same time.

Pale gold. Toasty slight burnt - in a good way - Brioche, Creme Brûlée, lemon curd, just ripe yellow apples, pineapple, ~banana, creamy delicate on the palate. Medium+ intensity and finish. Rich opulent vintage Champagne quality at $20 as an IGP Alentejo. Method Traditional. Antao Vaz, Arinto, Verdelho. 12%. Crushed oyster shells on the finish. — 5 years ago

Excellent red from Alentejano. Everybody loved it. — 2 years ago
I didn’t find it particularly interesting when I tried it with Coravin, but that’s because it’s a full bodied wine with high tannins that should be decanted. Today I’m tasting it with a stewed roast and it is delicious. Deep ruby color = #alicantebouschet #syrah and #touriganacional warm climate #alentejo medium+ aromas with ripe red cherries, ripe raspberry and red plums. Balsamic touches and on the palate it’s dry with medium acidity and medium+ ripe tannins. Medium+ finish. — 5 years ago

Delicious. Had with caiçaola. The wine held up well and the dish really emphasized the spiciness. Full bodied. Lots of cherry in the nose. Lots of fruit, chocolate, tobacco. Would love to have again. — a month ago
