For a Puligny quite brilliant! Easily outperformed the Dujac Combottes — 21 days ago
White and yellow florals. On the palate there are ripe citrus flavours. Delicate with a piercing intensity, if that makes sense - just the right amount of oak influence. At 10 years this white burgundy still has tension but overall a lean impression - a few years left in the cellar - I have one left. Points off for a ridiculously heavy and large bottle. I had to store it in my magnum storage. — 16 days ago
I mean, the texture alone makes this an excellent example of the highest quality fruit and next level skill in the cellar. — a month ago
Imagine picking this up on a wine list for $140!! Yep - welcome to the famous Le Soufflot in Mersault. The Coche reductive struck match is there, along with lemon, white flowers, and mineral. The palate is dense and clearly would benefit from more time. This was excellent, but frankly a bit underwhelming given the reputation. Perhaps +2-3 pts in 5+ years — a month ago
A seductive Burgundy. The color is disguises its aged properly. Scents of clean stables, dried flowers and mature red plum. Classic dried mushroom and cherry on the palate. Med bodied, balanced, velvet tannins with a long finish. Cheers. — 3 days ago
