Pale lemon color.
Aromas of tropical fruit, herbaceous.
Dry. Flavors of lime, kiwi, papaya, hint of green bell pepper, some minerality. Bright, fresh, and juicy!

Interesting and seamless blend. Syrah, pinotage, Cabernet, petit Verdot. Red spicy fruit meet s’mores. Earth, smoke. Great wine that is both very interesting, but comforting. Needs a better label. Seems like a generic brand-only effort, only the wax stop gives the impression of exclusive. — 6 years ago

Big, round, complex and absolutely delicious! Delicate spice rounded with raspberry and strawberry. Excellent choice for prime rib. — 10 years ago
Took a terrible photo here...this is a cab Syrah blend. I must say this is some of the best Texas wine I've ever had. These people make Iconoclast as well that's also pretty good — 12 years ago
No notes. Silky white flower palate, medium bodied, mineral core. Saludos Armenia!! Paired beautifully with spicy white bean stew with Harissa & jalepeno. Was inspired after watching Somm 4, which documents an Armenian iconoclast fighting the odds to revive his native wine culture. — a year ago
Smooth, almost a spicey and whiskey tone as the finish. 😍 — 5 years ago
An absolutely wonderful Syrah, from nose to finish! Wonderful medium-bold’ish red with notes of dark raspberries, plum, and a touch of cherry. Delicious! — 6 years ago
Little Fort Ross with little campaign but makes wonderful terroir driven wines. Owner bit iconoclast and likes it that way. Compare to its neighbors up there...this wine is a steal! Briny mineral matched up with some dry tropical lemon-lime custard. — 10 years ago
Post work, pre dinner. Pleased with taste, good Texas wine — 11 years ago
I challenge you to find a more delicious Saint Romain than this. Impeccable balance: Capri-sun with a touch of stemminess. Juicy unadulterated pinosity from a true iconoclast. — 11 years ago

Surprisingly good Cabernet Sauvignon from the Texas Hill Country Becker winery.. The grapes are actually grown in the Texas High Plains. I had drank another Becker Iconoclast years ago and it was very good. The wine was smooth with strong hints of chocolate. Paired well with red meat. Drank in December 2023. — 2 years ago
Visiting Fredericksburg TX for a few days. This is TX hill country and has a big winery community. Never tried any TX wines before but found a few surprises here. We tasted at Becker earlier today but not this wine. $30 on the restaurant wine list. Becker wasn’t our favorite stop but it is the only local winery represented on their list. Overall local wines seemed overpriced compared to CA wines. Just realized we had an older vintage (2018) on our last trip from Houston to Anaheim. It’s interesting that most of the grapes used in the local wines come from Lubbock (panhandle) area. Don’t know where these grapes came from, or what varietals are present. — 5 years ago
Super balanced and crisp. Oak but not overpowering. — 7 years ago
Dagueneau was and is an enormous influence on me. An iconoclast, yet integral, Didier not only pushed the envelope, he created his own. Transcendent Sauvignon Blanc, earthen yet ethereal. Signed, sealed, delivered, authentic and full of life, 10 years young and many more to go. This is Didier's last vintage, a heroic one — 10 years ago
