One of the best sparkling wines I’ve ever tasted — 5 years ago
Okay... just reviewed this a couple weeks ago...I was wrong! The wine is better than I thought! Absolutely brilliant with Salmon and Blackhawk hockey. Starting to wonder why drink white wine when this shit is available. Bargain, back up the truck and cover yourself with bubbles! — 4 years ago
Exactly my preference for body and complexity. Very strong, so sadly 1-2 glasses is enough for my head. — 5 years ago
Still very young but opening one anyway since this is a Villages wine I always love, a quick decant helps the nose to become more expressive with a dark fruit profile, the palate has great volume and texture, more expressive than the nose, medium to full bodied but nothing over the top either, the fruit is gorgeous and the wine is very approachable, nice delicious finish not too square for a young MSD, good right now, the potential is great. 90-91 — 3 years ago
Belle structure, rien n’accroche. Belle finale gouleyante. Aucune idée par contre comment cela peu vieillir? — 4 years ago
Early valentines for Anne-Marie and I. We loathe the prix-fixe c’mon sheep Valentines rush. Surprised her with the bouquet, and this gem of a gift from @Martin G Rivard!
We went to Jean Georges at Pound Ridge, and shared the bottle with the tables either side of us - they also loved the wine. It’s big, bold and luscious. So infectious. Martin, can’t thank you enuf. — 6 years ago
Turd Ferguson
Very nice base wine. Bdb. Insane amount of CO2. Needs min one hour decant. Then good. — a year ago
