Wonderful wine. Nose is green apple, puff pastry, lime zest and more. Baked apple as well. Really subtle yet intense. Palate is a joy. Deep, concentrated and super pure with amazing acidity and depth. Insane complexity and a huge mineral core. So salty on the finish. Awesome finesse. The real deal. — 2 years ago

Passed right by this vineyard as we were turning onto Soda Canyon Rd to visit Relic. Always really interesting to research where these single vineyard wines are sourced. This wine has a nose that is basil and a pepperoncini kind of note. Very interesting. The wine enters quite robustly with herbal notes of oregano, basil, and notes of green pepper. The fruit structure was more of a black cherry building from the front to middle. Finishes back to more of an herbal characteristic, almost as if the fruit is sandwiched between. Peppery and acidic finish which built in the long 30-second finish. Seemed to make that pepperoncini note kind of come back into the picture. Went really well with the Italian dish it was served with. Finished with some acidity and new oak tannin. Kind of a unique wine, and definitely not in a bad way. — 9 years ago
I wish I would’ve seen the option of rating this before it was identified by the app! We loved it for reasons that got lost over the past few weeks. Fantastic overall. — 5 years ago
Gorgeous wine and a killer Macon that’s more like a great Cote de Beaune wine than anything. Gorgeous deep nose of apple, more apple and some pear. Gorgeous spice and minerality. Complex, fresh and concentrated with dazzling purity, a hit of opulence and such amazing persistence and freshness. Wow. Deep. Long and so balanced. Energy for days. — 6 years ago

Great suggestion @Lyle Fass ! Delicious on both day 1 and day 2. Didn’t make it past day 2... was too drinkable. Great acidity and red fruit flavors. — 6 years ago
Beautiful Cab Sav (2009 vintage). Robust yet refined. Leave to breathe for at least half a day. Would go well paired with a robust tomato dish or a medium rare beef steak. — 7 years ago
Briny, nice mineral depth, leesy richness adds texture and weight. Lively acid and focused. A surprising find here in Napa and has plenty of Old World charm while being true to place. Salted peaches, white grapefruit, sea spray, crushed rock, cream, pith, and citrus flowers. — 9 years ago
After it opens up it's full of flavor. Pretty good for the price. — 9 years ago
