Compared to the Chassagne, this was less dressed up but just as intense; and was a little more compelling, but neither moved me. Fruit-forward on the nose, with ripe lemons and stone fruits taking center stage. Some beeswax and autolytic notes add complexity. The palate was very textural and stony, especially with air. Vintage 2015 | I forgot that I drank this wine 4 years ago, but 🫶 to delectable. Same velvety taste. Joyful fruit expressions. 60 Merlot 30 Cabernet Franc 10 Cabernet Sauvignon 12 m in barrels.
