Fresh damson plums, black mulberry, Zwetschgenröster, and some fresh herbs & spices - sage, allspice.
On the palate this is light with lively, juicy acidity, a nice tannic grip, a fresh, mineral finish.
Has a inky, slightly wild side to it, but overall a very complete & elegant Blaufränkisch. And drinking so nicely right now! — 3 years ago

Traditionally do not rate wines over 9 unless I’m very impressed and for the price point ($38) will NOT disappoint. Tasted best against 2 wines of similar value and beat out one twice it’s price. Very distinct nose. Difficult to get . Had the 2014 in March 2021 with wine tasting group — 4 years ago
Decent wine particularly for the price. — 5 years ago
