This is a great tipple as the weather cools down in the Southern Hemisphere. From Islay with plenty of peat and smokiness. A maritime seaweed note. Some say Laphroaig is even more peaty but for me, the jury is still out on that one. — 15 days ago

Day 24 of the 2022 Whisky Advent Calendar. Very smoky at first but with a caramel depth coming through. Intensely peaty with a cocoa and mint layer under it and lots of spices. Toasty nutty finish. — a year ago

P: Buttery rich, mineral, very mineral, yeasty, very smooth. Almost medicinal in the way Laphroaig scotch is.
