The Clos Pegase label features Pegasus, painted circa 1890 by the French artist Redon. Pale lemon with aromas of fresh fruit and floral scents. On the palate apple and melon flavors, creamy with pronounced oak and citrus notes. Medium finish, good balance ending with fruit and oak character. Still tasting well. Good value! We just tasted beside a Stags Leap, Pegase won, and it’s $5 cheaper!! Nice!! — 4 years ago

Celebrating this beautiful Saturday evening in TX with a 2011 #growerbubbles #brutnature . We preceded this bottle with an NV Moët White Star so it was really interesting to taste the contrast. Soft citrus and apple aroma - notable for the lack of yeasty notes. Compared to the Moët house style blend, this was razor sharp in its precision in the palate: pear, apple, touch of lemon held up by softer effervescence and loads of crushed minerals and generous lift from acidity. Delicious crisp bubbles on a historic day. #fatcork — 4 years ago
