The Clos Pegase label features Pegasus, painted circa 1890 by the French artist Redon. Pale lemon with aromas of fresh fruit and floral scents. On the palate apple and melon flavors, creamy with pronounced oak and citrus notes. Medium finish, good balance ending with fruit and oak character. Still tasting well. Good value! We just tasted beside a Stags Leap, Pegase won, and it’s $5 cheaper!! Nice!! — 6 years ago

Lovely red. Smooth. Slightly chilled. Recommended by Donnette. j had rack of lamb M had steak — 6 months ago
Bought it because the wine maker said wild pigs were eating his grapes. This is the top La Clape I'm told. A bit of tannins and delish. — 8 months ago
Dry and bold with a lingering finish. Oak, tart cherries, and a hint of something that reminds me of really good olive brine. — 6 years ago
Had this about a year ago. Aged well from a year ago. Very nice Cremat. Oak aging does what it's supposed adding some complexity and depth rather than overpowering. Nice soft bubbles, good balance and excellent persistence ticking all boxes which one seeks from a quality sparkler. Great aperitiv but works through meal as well. Very good option for Christmas table be it then traditional or more modern cuisine. — 8 years ago
Soft and silky. Not too much acid but easy drinking — 8 months ago

Fruit forward and flavors of Cab but smooth like a merlot. Nice combo! — 6 years ago
Great with boiled shrimp at lunch — 7 years ago
Made in Bordeaux but played like a Burgundy. Ripe fruit, rich texture, fine barrel integration, holding its pants even at a temperature around 10-12c.. considerable length - over 20 seconds. Price as jumped since last vintage, so did the quality. This wine can bluff a Burgundy amateur in blind tasting that's for sure; it does feel like a wine from Puligny. — 8 years ago
