It's almost silvery in color and restrained due to hand-picking, leading to pure grapefruit, passion fruit and nectarine, all delivered with focus and punch. Star of a two Bandol night, but this at age 14( minus a week or two). Deeper, plush, black violet & cassis nose; on palate tannins really nicely integrated, wild blackberries, more cassis & black currants. Crazy elegant and generous. Feels open. Distant notes of some kind of bark & forest floor. Older wild flowers.Eye opener, in sense of how far Bandol can go for me. — 10 months ago
