Tasted blind. Reddish tawny and young looking. Intense nose. Notes of raspberry, rhubarb, camphor, mocha, Asian spice and dark soil. Rich and intense in the mouth. We’re told this was given lots of air – which led guesses to be red burg more in the late 90s or 00’s. The reveal was exciting as none of us have had a bottle from this vigneron before. Super high quality juice, still on it’s upward climb. This juice will be around, giving pleasure to those that have it, for another decade or two and will undoubtedly improve with more age. — 5 years ago
Just fine. Nothing really wrong with it, but nothing remarkable. — 2 days ago
GREAT pino noir, balanced sweet and dry, good by itself or with food — 4 years ago
13.5% ABV Salute to Lulu Peyraud of Domaine Tempier in France. Lulu’s father owned the vineyard , and she along with her husband took it over. Sadly we lost her in October 2020 at the age of 102 y/o. This is a blend of old vine Mataro and Grenache. Light salmon color, watermelon initially , later apple. Very nice! — 4 years ago

2018 - Superbe, au vignoble — 3 years ago
Amazing, vibrant, perfectly tart dusty raspberry and crushed cranberry splashed over granite chunks and crunchy autumn leaves. Had with braised short ribs and fig chocolate for desert. Top 3 wines of the year for me, paired with a glorious autumn day. — 4 years ago
Not shockingly, this needed a sec to blow off some sulfur but was more structured than I excepted — 4 years ago

Some nice florals on the nose, a little bloody and meaty; moderately complex. Palate with fine grained tannins, red and black fruits; some chalky minerals, but a pretty big dose of brett unfortunately. Still, the fruit does come through, with a moderate finish. Day 2; less brett and more fruit, still tight, needs 5 years but second day is much better — 3 days ago
