Dark ruby color. A wine I haven’t had. Apparently a combo of Grenache and Cabernet. Strong strawberry nose. A nice palate of dark cherry strawberry tobacco. Complex long finish. — 3 years ago
5 years on for this southern Frenchie. GSM. Dark color. Looks like black cherry skins. Smells floral with hints of spice box. The spices of autumn. Violets and bearded Iris are the flowers. Hint of dark plum candy (not candied, but a hard candy). Flavors are dusted truffles and cherry Black Forest cake. Dry and just a touch bittersweet. Makes the grade for southern French red. Has a sun-baked background and some deep, dense flavors that can hold up a bit long than the five years it’s been around I’m sure. Label says clay, limestone soils. They come through. This is a nice drinking wine from the massive Gérard Bertrand portfolio. — 5 months ago

Restrained nose - but very full bodied and pleasant dark fruits. Quite tannic but soft on the finish. Nice. Shabbat shalom — 3 years ago
New grape varietal for me. Combines the power of Cabernet Sauvignon and the brightness of Grenache. Aromas of bramble berries and dark cherries/currants. Hints of baking spices. Pallet is loaded with ripe berry and plum fruit followed by notes of vanilla, spice, dried herbs and toasted oak. Well integrated soft tannins. Reasonably well balanced. — 4 years ago

This is a full-bodied, thickly textured wine made from Merlot, Cabernet France, Malbec and Marselan. It has appealing flavors of blackberry, black cherry, cassis, plum, cranberry and violet. Cedar and clove attest to oak aging and, at 6 years of age, some tertiary notes of leather and forest floor are emerging. All this fruit is nicely balanced by silky tannins and the body is enhanced by 15%abv without ever feeling heavy or overdone. The long finish is the icing on the cake and the value price makes it even more special. — 14 days ago
