Tastes like a mini CdP, at a fraction of the price. — 5 years ago
Mineralistic and spicy on the nose, with a hint of cherries and maybe even a bit of varnish. Tastes of dark chocolate and raspberries with a slight chalkiness. Medium to full bodied. Still young with strong tannins. — 7 years ago
Exotic and potent, with a label that would make Gianni Versace proud. Opens with a peculiar and foreign attitude, but offers a bouquet of wildflowers encased in red licorice, and wears newly stitched racing jacket. Certainly polished, but there’s no mistaking where this is from... the red dirt bursts from the glass. — 8 years ago
J’aime bien, se rapproche d’un porto.

Superb nose with licorice, blackberry, garrigue, other red fruits. This is very intense and inviting. The palate shows a very nice strong acid drive and a great width, with matter on the sides. Licorice and blackberry play back to back notes all along. The mouthfeel is soft, until mid palate where some dusty tannins spice things up a notch. Very long finish with that tannic grain, licorice and blackberry. I'm probably biased as this is my uncle's wine (he bought shares in the vineyard 2 years ago) but this is one of the best grenache blend I've had. More Maury sec please!
@Delectable Wine it's a Maury sec AOC — 5 years ago

Fragile - I don't believe it’s pronounced frah-ghee-lay - has a big, bright nose full of big, bright red fruit. A bit of heat pokes its head through, too, owing to the 15% alcohol content. That cherry-red fruit comes through on the palate as well, with a boatload of acidity to boot. The winery notes say Fragile pairs well with lighter fare and warm, sunny days. I'd have it with pork chops in a heartbeat. — 7 years ago
At its best, I’ve always found Grenache has the ability to achieve an elegance and purity matched by few other Mediterranean grapes. This Maury Sec accomplishes just that - a wine with a cooling berry flavor of length and transparency. Heady, with subtle blue notes and a piney, fresh garden herbaceousness - it captivates with its tranquil breadth and high-toned finish. 80% Grenache, 20% Carignan. — 8 years ago
Not what I ordered (the server messed up), but it was perfect with the cassoulet. I’d happily order it again. — 7 months ago
Delectable, this is Chateau Saint-Roch's Kerbuccio grenache blend. Nice wine that's full bodied and heavy. Good for this evening's cool temps. Plum, blueberry, tobacco, spice. Soft and short finish, but very enjoyable. I had the cheaper counterpart the other night, and this one scores a point higher. Also 65% Grenache 35% Syrah.

Very dark rubi robe, nose of sweet dark fruits, leather and tobacco, with a sweet end. Dense and fresh, silky tannins, sweet without ever being heavy, very long in the mouth. Great stuff. — a month ago
