Another new Brunello producer I’ve wanted to try. Definitely a very nice wine. Especially given 2016, a bit surprised to see this clock in at 15%, and it does show a bit on the palate. But the aromas and fruit expression are really fantastic. Nice wine with a variety of foods at Boccon di Vino just outside of Montalcino - really worth a visit for the view alone. — 4 years ago

Blend of three vineyard plots belong to the winery, dark garnet in color, bacon, fig, plum, tobacco, and even a slight hint of blue cheese, very structured wine with firm but delicate tannin, will resolve more in the next few years, an elegant style with a long finish. — 11 years ago
