A beautiful white from the east coast of central Italy. Apple, pear, lemony and smooth. @Delectable Wine this is the Marche Passerina please update thanks! — 3 years ago
A well made version of vermentino.
Nose is aromatic lemon extract. Very fresh and clean. Very Italian. Some richness as it opens.
Palate is nicely mineral and balanced. Light gods lemon soda. Very sprightly on the palate. A hint of lemon pith. Richer as it opens. Great acidic balance.
Something in new wants to try this in 7 years for some reason.
Would be awesome with crudo.
It’s one of those wines that is an incredibly great version of what it’s supposed to be.

Far beyond expectations, very powerful chianti, extremely intensive bouquet, long aftertaste. Very pleasant and balanced acidity. If you are not a fan of rich reds, avoid this. Otherwise, cheers! 🍷🍷 — 7 years ago

Straw green. Delicate herbs, lime and floral aromas on the enticing nose. Then clean fresh and juicy, with outstanding inner-mouth perfume to the ripe pomaceous orchard fruit flavors. Finishes long with a whisper of pear, minerals, sweet spices and noteworthy clarity. A knockout Friulano. (Ian D'Agata, Vinous, May 2018) — 8 years ago
The nose was dark and beautiful, showing spiced cherry, plum, dried orange, and crushed violets. On the palate, I found tart black fruits, inner floral and herbal tones, with energizing acidity matched by fine tannin. It finished intensely structured on dark fruits, undergrowth and hints of ash. This needs time, but I’m already loving it. #collisioni17 — 9 years ago
A very delicious Italian white. Much better after a long decant. @Delectable Wine this is the Marche Trebbiano thanks! — 3 years ago

You know, I have no idea what the eff this is or what in the naming is actually identifying (“isola dei nuraghi”), but this one is scintillating. At first, the entry was pleasant and red fruity and quickly went to lapsang souchong (which I hate), but the character really changed like a chameleon several times. There are candied caramelized pig fat notes, and some grippy haminess, and some mulled spice notes. This would probably be a great pizza wine. Goes well with chocolate. Eenteresting. — 5 years ago
Cherries, tobacco, red fruits. Luscious, full mouthfeel without the dry “pucker” of some Chiantis. Very good, especially for the lack of aging. — 7 years ago
I'm not a big white wine drinker but this one is smooth. — 8 years ago
Tastes and smells pineapple-y. A tad dry. Delicious. — 8 years ago
