Medium bodied with a nice long finish — 13 days ago
Crisp and slightly juicy. Slight acidity, but not a ton. — a year ago
First wine of the BYOB blind tasting. This was excellent. Very few called Pinot. Dark, bigger frame that had perfect tension and balance. — 10 months ago
The nose on this is gorgeous. There’s a lightness of bread, honeysuckle, and rain. Then I also get a red wine like smell of cherries and currants. Palate is impressive and leans more toward oak and red wine. Forest for sure, really interesting fruit with apple, hint of tropical fruit, some cantaloupe, sourdough toast, and cherries jubilee. I’m not sure I’m doing it justice in describing. It just keeps evolving. Seems to punch well over its weight class. Hope I can secure another bottle or two. First vintage of this Jadot outfit. Dark cherries, crushed marble, hint lime, cigar box, black tea. Subsequent vintages could never match this 2013. Who knows may be legendary wine maker Jacques Lardière was involved or they had better oak barrels shipped from France. 13.1%. Really a stand out for this wine from Oregon. Drink up at this point. — 7 days ago
