Rivera sacra nunca falla. Fresco y fácil de beber. — 3 years ago
Interesting and tasty red from Pulgia, not sure where obtained. Dark Ruby. Forest, mushroom and ripe dark fruits, keep one sniffing. minerals and acids in balance with almost velvety coating on palate. Long lingering finish. Wonder how it tastes when young. Found previous notes, AA18 red blend Predominantly Nero di Troia with Montepulciano per wine searcher. Last bottle. — 4 years ago
Excellent Rivera! Needs a lot of decanting! Deep ruby color with garnet rim. Lots of glycerol, full body and quite alcoholic. On the nose is quite an adventure. At first it was very fruity, lots of black currant, licorice and peppercorn. Then Super long finish! Just awesome! — 7 years ago
Heavily tannic but well integrated. Cherry, non French oak, and herbal funk. Great Barolo. — 8 years ago

A perfectly smokey, incredibly drinkable orange. — 7 years ago
I’m a sucker for Spanish Tempranillo. This wine seems less fruity and simultaneously more tannic than what I normally have. But still delicious. This is my first non Rioja Tempranillo. This is from the Castilla and Leon region. Typical? I’m eager to find out. — 7 years ago
Dark garnet color with a ruby core. Aromas of cranberry, dried cherry, wet asphalt and dried rose petals. The palate features black cherry and blackberry fruit with hints of tar, tobacco, black pepper and baking spices. Nice mineral note on the very long finish. Medium bodied, velvety tannins and fresh acidity. — 2 years ago

Nose is so unique with lavender, tobacco, flowers and lots of minerals. Some deep black and red plum as well. Palate is super juicy, with extraordinary concentrating and purity. Explosive tiny plum and berry fruit. Really gorgeous fruit that is clearly defined. What purity the nose really starts to get perfumed but still needs time to open. The palate is really the showstopper here. Superb structure and tannins. Wow is this juicy and just ridiculously delicious. The finish is so long and framed just so perfectly. Wonderful wine. As this airs the structure becomes more serious but the tannins are extraordinary and perfectly ripe. Dazzling length and finesse. World class wine. — 4 years ago
Wine perfection. Cranberry and licorice flavors, powerful licorice nose. Underrated on Vivino. Perfect with steak or lamb. — 7 years ago
Stewed prunes white pepper cedar, newer oak vanillins. Face melting tannins, blacker pepper and plums in the mouth, more perfume. Not much concentration perhaps why there is some montepulciano in the blend, so I'd be tempted to say drink now. I love it, but its kinky with the tannins. Not for everyone. — 7 years ago
