A perfect rosé. Crispy. Notes of strawberries and limestone. A wonderful way to start any summer evening. — a month ago
It is time for some Merlot on this #MerlotThursday.
Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Strong and fruity nose with ripe black fruits and chocolate notes.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry and fruit forward on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing cooked cherries, plums, black currants, coffee, light cedar, earth, herbs, spices, tobacco and chocolates.
Nice finish with fine grained tannins and cherries.
This is a delicious Merlot from the Right Bank of Bordeaux. Soft, elegant, and very impressive.
Rich, complex and fruit forward. Nicely balanced with a soft mouthfeel.
This 6 year old Merlot will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.
Drinking it with the wine maker in the winery's cellar is always a special experience.
Easy drinking and good by itself or with food.
A blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged in new French oak barrels for 18 months.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

Cotes de Catalan red with Guinea Fowl at Spring. Excellent fruit, not the graininess I can find in Grenache/Carignan reds at times. — 2 years ago

No notes and biased review, of course. Superb pairing with beef, duck breast, chicken thigh and chorizo, and lamb kebabs made on the grill by yours truly.
Blackberry, black cherry, a bit of an irony touch, some black pepper. The palate is a model of balance with a peppery, cherry and irony touch, some light tannins and a super long finish with fruit and that nice nouthfeel that coats the entire mouth. This is a banger and for 10 EUR at the winery an absolute still, once again. — 2 days ago
