Grand Itata Los Amigos White Blend 2019

Moscatel(45%), Riesling (35%), and Semillon (25%), bush trained vines planted in 1922. 12.5% ABV

Pear, honeysuckle, lime. Fresh & clean.

Riesling is the most decipherable without knowing blend, the other two not so much. Nice wine, meets expectation. Good midweek wine. Love old vine wines. 97 Years old (2019)

Hi David 😀
I get an error message when replying to comments. Ive learned/learning to let the error happen, walk away, and my reply will appear later. Was thinking of you with this wine, and the red which Adam mentioned.

lol I guess we can comment back and forth on each other's posts?? 🤣 Whatevs. I tried a second bottle of their red and it was so much better than the first. Don't remember if the vintage was the same. Cheers!

Good to hear. I was embarrassed and felt bad, that your experience wasn’t stellar, and that I possibly spaced on a fault. In my defense I did pair it with local smokehouse turkey, and it went nicely. Cheers! 🍷

Rogue Valley Pinot Noir 2017

A great entry level Oregon pinot noir. Shows great promise for what higher level Oregon pinots bring to the table. Although more on the lighter body (which is to be expected on an entry level wine), the flavors are well balanced between cherry, raspberry, and earthy mushroom. Hard to be beat for $18. — 6 years ago

Oh I think I’m in love. Smoky. Steak. Jerky. Salt. Then a rich finish with a small kick of tannins. I think it’s very well balanced for its age. ❤️ — 5 years ago
