Created in 1981, Terre Alte is considered one of Italy's most prestigious white wines, blend of Friulano, Pinot Bianco and Sauvignon grapes, estate-grown at Rosazzo in the historic Terre Alte vineyards. Pale lemon yellow color with aromas of stone and tropical fruits and wonderful floral notes. On the palate flavors of apple, peach and slight lemon citrus with honey floral notes and lively acidity. Had it after it was open for 24hrs. Malvasia comes through on the nose. Lots of brûlée, not so much acid. A bit viscous. Something marshmallow-y about the airy sweetness. Very nice — 7 months ago

Needed to get in touch with my roots. Raided my dad’s cellar when he wasn’t around to scold me for it. Enjoyed with my mom and sister over pasta with pesto. Resolved and in a beautiful spot. Herbaceous but still fresh. Elegant.
