Interesting that this initially tastes of oak and some crime brûlée but as it warmed I got more acid and tons of tart fruit such as lemons, limes, persimmon, and some stones at the end. Really liked this despite being skeptical initially. Drinking well now but has time left. — 4 years ago

Needs about 2 hours of air. Great nose of flint, baking spice, sweet cranberries, plums, white pepper. Palate is well balanced with similar flavors maybe more savory than baking spice. I get some fennel and more types of pepper. Good fruit throughout but more dark and tart. Impressed. — a year ago
This is a 2017 vintage. Dark fruits on the nose with a hint of oak. Amazingly bright fruit on the palate with an amazing mouth feel and lingering fruit on the finish. This is a buy now and drink now wine. — 4 years ago
Earthy and a bit fruit forward. Typical of Sta Rita Hills. Pairs well with food such as pork. Slight green vegetal quality in taste. — 6 years ago

Deep ruby color. Aromas of blueberry, dark chocolate and spice box. Velvety Syrah- black and blue fruit on the palate, vanilla and chocolate on the finish.
