Château Saint-Roch

Kerbuccio Maury Sec Red Rhone Blend 2020

Winner! Been awhile since I’ve been “wowed” by a wine, but this really delivered. It’s everything special about southern France, it’s not a huge wine and had a bit of heat that dissipated by Night 2, but the aromatics and flavor profile was just so spot on, so beautifully complex & engaging, so regionally specific - it was like a textbook. Believe this was about $20 give or take and I’m going back for a case. — 16 days ago

Going through the old stash, drinking nicely. Earthy but light on its feet, complexity just enough to make it interesting with mature dark red fruit notes and medium finish. — 10 months ago

30 years old and still bringing it. Drank with my blushing bride of 51 years on Valentine’s Day. It was a good choice. Both. — a month ago

Vibrant gold/yellow color. Awesome nose filled with melons, minerality, cream, and a hint of cigarettes. Complex, unique wine. A little funk mid-palate that has some bite. Medium plus depth and medium finish. Resembles the ‘15 vintage I had. If you can find a better or more unique white for under $20 I’d like to try it. This rocks!! — 5 months ago
