Nice buy from binnys. Light. — 2 years ago
Amazingly tight for a 16-year old wine. The acids are smell-able on the nose, zinging along tart, macerated wild cherry fruit and glacier-crushed rock fragments. (OK, maybe I’m making up the part about how the crushed rocks were created.) In the mouth it’s deep but the acids rip this along on the palate like a whitewater canoe ride. Really really unique and good. — 2 months ago
В Париже в «33» звучало просто великолепно с сырыми креветками. Надо перепробовать. — 10 months ago
Lovely, rich Amarone! Berry on the palate with a smooth long finish. Classico! — 5 years ago
Shatters all preconceived notions of what one expect. Lambrusco to be. Pale reddish orange hue. Taut and clean with persistent fine bubble, not just a fizz. Tart fruits like pomegranate and underripe strawberries. — 5 months ago
Blend of Grenache, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. Light ruby/garnet color with a slight brick rim. Aromas of minerals, dried blueberries, purple flowers and oak. Blue/blackberry and black currant fruit on the palate along with notes of dark chocolate, tar and black licorice. Pleasant mineral note on the medium length finish. Though its power has faded over time, this unfiltered wine shows nice balance and a smooth texture. A bit past its prime but still drinkable and interesting. whoa - this was a hedonistic wine, inky w/pungent aromas of blackberry, black cherry, plums, licorice, cassis, vanilla, cocoa and minerality running through it all - liquified compote like fruit - on the palate you get some phenolic heat but just gobs of velvety black fruit, spice and minerals, big plush, integrated tannins and just enough acidity to keep everything moving to a long lingering caressing finish. known this producer for a long time, a Priorato stalwart - their entry level wine, doesn't have the typical terroir of the region but still impressive — 4 days ago
